We are over the moon (and just a tiny bit sandy from Shem Creek) to share that Shem Creek Studios was named "Best Interior Design Firm" in Charleston's 2025 Best Of the Holy City Awards and the Best of South Carolina 2025 Awards! It's an honor that speaks to our joyful, fun-loving approach, and it couldn't have happened without our amazing clients who embrace creativity as much as we do. These awards are for all of our families who dared to step out of their comfort zones, and trusted that we'd give every detail our full attention from day one. Founded by friends turned business partners Lexi and Sabrina, we bring nearly a decade of shared design experience (and a whole lot of creative energy to every project)! We started our journey as design partners when working as Lead Designers at a large design firm in Charleston, which led us to where we are today. When you work with us, you get both of us, fully involved and invested from day one.
Our style draws inspiration from the charm of the low country: traditional coastal design with fresh modern touches and bold color. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take our work very seriously, and we are proud to stand behind every detail we design.
